Our process begins with concrete preparation (diamond grinding and patching) followed by application of a crazy-thick 100%-solids, moisture-mitigating epoxy primer coat. We then broadcast your chosen Vintage Mica flake blend into the epoxy layer in a full-chip spread. On Day 2 of application (yes, we take 2 days, not 1…and that’s a good thing!), we reclaim any unadhered, flakes, buff, and then vacuum, to create the perfect canvas for the final two polyaspartic clear coats (not just one). This approach yields exquisite flooring, far thicker (35 mils) than any “1-day polyurea” system. It provides extreme flexural strength and superior resistance to impacts, abrasion, staining…and most importantly, moisture.
